The Body Shop Summer Party in Brighton

Even though if feels ages ago, it’s been only a few weeks The Body Shop invited some Brighton Bloggers to their Summer Party.

The party was in the Seattle Hotel in Brighton Marina, a lovely place with sea views. We had tasty nibbles and drinks. All the bloggers as well as all The Body Shop staff were very nice, we all chat for a few hours and had a pleasant evening.

A beauty and a makeup expert were there too. They answered all our questions based on the type of skin we have. It was very useful and nice being able to have a one to one chat with each of them.

My favourite part of the evening was when Zoe Cook, the Head of PR, talked about all the coming products and new ranges. It was very inspirational seeing their philosophy and they way they work.

She presented the new Voyage collection, a range of fragrances and body care which names are inspired on different countries: Italy Summer Fig, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Indian Night Jasmine (my favourite), Atlas Mountain Rose and Fijian Water Lotus.

Zoe also went trough the ‘Spa of the World’ collection… OMG! She used the term ‘spathroom’ when presenting it and I think it’s just GENIOUS. The name, the fascinating concept behind the idea of creating a Spa in your own bathroom, the “me” time when using the products. The ‘Spa the Word’ range includes oils, scrubs, body butter and clays as well as different accessories that will help making a spa at home. The spa collection has fragrances such as lavender, jasmine, camellia, orchid, Hawaiian kukui and much more. Everything you need to get these much needed moments of relaxation, revitalisation and pure bliss, as they said.

After a delightful evening, it was time to go home, but not without a goodie bag with AMAZING products, which I will talk about on different posts.

What do you think about The Body Shop? Are you regular customers?
