When I saw the tickets a month or so ago, I couldn’t contain my excitement so I sent an email to the whole office to see who wanted to come to the Vogue Festival. Six of us decided to go and I must say that it was very nice spending time with all of them.
It feels ages ago now, but it’s been only 2 weekends since we were at the Royal College of Art enjoying the Vogue Festival 2015.
We had tickets to the talk ‘So you want to be in fashion’ where great professionals shared their experiences and some tips about how to start a career in fashion. Editor-in-chief of British Vogue Alexandra Shulman, Harrods Fashion Director Helen David, Fashion Designer Simone Rocha and the Fashion Consultant Yasmin Sewell were the speakers. They gave very useful advice; it was a pleasure sharing a moment with these professionals.
It was great to have our nails done by the TopShop beauty team, our hair by professionals like Kerastase in association with Headmasters and Bobbi Brown makeup. Topshop gave us a free nail polish and Kerastase some free shampoo, conditioner and oil samples.
I couldn’t resist it so I bought the Alexa Chung book: IT. I’ve started reading it and so far so good.
We also bumped into Kate Upon and Bobbi Brown, and I also spotted bloggers like Adriana Matei from http://www.misshypewit.com/.
I had a lovely time and I can’t wait for more events like this one to come.
